I'm sitting on my couch trying to write again, but I find myself watching "Family Matters" on the screen in front of me. Episode description: "Nunsense," (1994) Urkel fears that his rejection has sent Myra to a nunnery, so he and Eddie and Waldo dress in habits to search for her. Urkel in religious drag = brilliant. It reminds me of my roommate's neon T-shirt with Steve on it saying "WOAH MAMA!" Wanna see something surprising? Check out Urkel now:

We see you, Jaleel White.
Moving on, let me tell you about my crazy dream last night. I dreamt that in my room existed a small-scale Mordor (yes, LOTR Mordor), and even though everything was much tinier than me, I had to warn my family. I brought my mom over to show her the miniature horse riding on my desk, but she just told me not to tell my little cousin Isaac because it would upset him. So I let the little horse gallop on, and I woke up feeling a sense of urgency... the things that seep into my subconscious. Then, life-sized Legolas emerged from my closet, and Katie and I swung from his hair wearing nothing but fairy wings and smiles (wait, what?)
Oh, hey happy late Chinese New Year. Year of the Ox, baby.
"Boy, do I feel auspicious."
Top priority on my to-do list tomorrow is shave legs because I think the row behind me in yoga is beginning to find my calf stubble distracting. More distracting, however, was when my instructor told the class to "smile through our eyebrows." I'm still figuring that one out.
Alright, my creative juices are obviously running dry, so until next time dream well.
-J.
I laughed out loud at the vision of us swinging from Legolas' beautiful golden locks...you have a way with words Ms. Julia. A. Way. With. Words.
